MO February last (4815/1915), I am directed to state that the Board of Education have decided to recommend Mr. William

Lucas Handyside for appointment as Education Department of Hong Kong.

Assistant aster in the Particulars of Hr.

Handyside's qualifications and experience will be found in the attached papers.

Mr. A.0. Brawn, Headmaster of Yuamati School, and Mr. F.T. Howard, H.. Inspector, were members of the Selection Committee on this occasion.
